PRAGUE (February 18, 2021) – The prestigious London ranking agency Chambers and Partners has published its ranking of the world’s best law firms in Chambers Global 2021 for the 22nd time this year. ROWAN LEGAL and, at an individual level, Miloš Olík, one of the partners of the Czech law firm who has long been involved in this area, received awards. The final rankings are based on a detailed analysis of clients’ experiences and their feedback.

ROWAN LEGAL has traditionally profiled itself as one of the leading experts in the field of dispute resolution in the Czech Republic. Its inclusion in Band 3 of the Chambers and Partners world ranking is confirmation of ROWAN LEGAL’s reputation in this field. Chambers and Partners includes a wide range of activities in categories ranging from commercial disputes before civil courts to the criminal prosecution of white-collar crime. However, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and the activities of mediators are also a key focus.

Miloš Olík, a partner at ROWAN LEGAL and co-head of its dispute resolution department, also received a high rating in the form of placement in Band 2. “The appreciation of the results of my work by Chambers and Partners is a huge professional honor for me. I appreciate this particularly because of the methodology used by the editors in the competition – the results are based primarily on feedback from clients. At ROWAN LEGAL, we always care about client satisfaction first and foremost, and I am glad that they also appreciate cooperation with our law firm and the results that we are able to achieve together in the field of dispute resolution,” responded Miloš Olík to the ranking.

In his practice, Miloš Olík has been involved in dispute resolution for a long time. He handles not only litigation, but also arbitration (in the Czech and foreign environments) as well as, for example, mediation. His name appears not only on the list of arbitrators of the Czech Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic, but also on the lists of the most important international arbitration institutions (CIETAC, LCIA, VIAC, HKIAC). He also serves as the chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) of the Czech Republic and the chairman of the Grand Jury of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FACR).

Chambers Global’s overall evaluation and ranking is the result of detailed analysis and communication with clients of the evaluated law firms. It focuses mainly on parameters such as the expertise and experience of individuals and entire teams and the quality of client services with an emphasis on speed, communicativeness and determination. A key criterion is also the ability to anticipate the direction in which a particular legal sector will develop, and the related ability to save clients time and money. An indispensable category is the area of diligence, in which respect for professional standards and a sense for detail are assessed.

ROWAN LEGAL has been ranked in a global comparison based on an analysis of the competitive environment in more than two hundred jurisdictions. Chambers and Partners has published its results for the last 22 years, reflecting keen analysis of the activities and client experiences of almost 3,000 law firms from all over the world. These represent about 11.5 percent of the global legal services market.
