Alžběta Bortlová is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University and the Faculty of Chemistry, Brno University of Technology. During her law studies, she also spent a semester at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Over the long term, she has focused on environmental law, particularly on issues regarding the legal status of implants in the bodies of the deceased. She was awarded a prize by the Dean of the Faculty of Law in the SVOČ competition for her contest legal thesis dealing with the legal aspects of recycling after cremation. During her studies, she worked as legal trainee at the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic.
At ROWAN LEGAL, she specializes in public sector law, especially in public procurement law and energy law. As part of her specialization, Alžběta participates in projects involving the operation of water management assets and waste management itself. Alžběta also provides legal support in defending the interests of contractors and applicants in the public procurement process, especially when representing them before the Office for the Protection of Competition and before administrative courts.
