Within the ROWAN LEGAL team, Ondřej focuses mainly on the area of litigation, both in out-of-court dispute resolution and in proceedings already initiated, both before the general court and before arbitrators.
In the area of litigation, Ondřej deals in particular with unfair competition, the right to compensation for damages or unjust enrichment; and last but not least, construction projects (including FIDIC regulation) and disputes arising in this area. The legal services provided by Ondřej include analyses of the client’s legal situation, participation in the preparation of procedural strategies in the out-of-court and in-court phase of disputes initiated or threatened, the negotiation of out-of-court settlement agreements, or legal assistance to clients in proceedings before mediators.
During his tenure at ROWAN LEGAL, Ondřej has been and continues to provide legal services in the field of litigation for major clients in the telecommunications, e-commerce, construction, information technology and public law sectors. He also focuses on issues such as the right to free access to information.
Provided legal services to the City of Prague, in a number of disputes arising out of the Opencard project.
Provided legal services to a client in a dispute over claims relating to an infrastructure construction project, the construction of a transport hub.
Provided legal services to a client, a state enterprise, in the area of mitigation of the consequences of mining activities, inter alia, in a dispute over the determination of ownership of 1.8 million tonnes of tailings from coal mining, and in a dispute over compensation for damages exceeding CZK 1.2 billion.
Participated in the preparation of a legal analysis for the client – ŘSD – in a FIDIC contract concerning the České Budějovice bypass.
Provided legal services to a client in disputes concerning the determination of rights to immovable property worth over CZK 80 million.
Provided legal services to the client in the field of construction – demolition of buildings and resolution of technical complications in the subsoil and related claims for the client.
Participated in providing services to a major client in the product price comparison market in a dispute with an international company, on the issue of abuse of dominance and related damages.
Advised a major Czech mobile operator in a number of disputes involving claims for damages by former sales representatives.
Provided legal services the City of Prague, in unfair competition disputes arising out of the operation and management of public lighting in the capital city.
