Vilém Podešva appointed a member of Remonstrance Committee of ÚOHS for the protection of competition

Partner at ROWAN LEGAL, JUDr. Vilém Podešva, LLM has been appointed a member of the Remonstrance Committee of ÚOHS for the protection of competition, effective as of January 1, 2020. “I am very pleased with this new opportunity and look forward to it. I believe that I will be able to put my experience from other remonstrance committees into use, as well as my competition experience in the field of advocacy, and that I will at least to some extent contribute to the formation of competition law in the Czech milieu,” commented Vilém Podešva on his appointment. He ranks among the leading experts in the field of protection of competition and during the last 15 years has repeatedly participated in the work of the Office for the Protection of Competition´s Remonstrance Committee in the sphere of public procurement (2012 – 2017) and the Ministry of Regional Development in proceedings regarding the list of qualified suppliers (2006 to the present).
