On 12 and 13 June, a two-day Conference on Public Support took place, which is one of the most important events dealing with this issue. It has been held since 2009.
Who spoke at the conference?
There were a number of excellent speakers from the Czech Republic and abroad. We are pleased to have been able to send a representative in the form of Jiri Mňuk, Senior Associate, who spoke on a panel on the latest case law of the European Commission and the CJEU.
What was the subject of the discussion on the latest case law?
In his presentation, Jiří presented two recent judgments of the General Court from the first half of this year. He commented on the issue of assessing subsidy funding for major infrastructure projects and on the issue of state sourcing in the case of complex fee structures in the energy sector.
