On Thursday, April 12, 2018, the results of the prestigious international Legal 500 legal rankings for 2018 were announced. The rankings are the result of several months of surveys among the clients of law firms.
This year, our office obtained the highest ranking awarded by the Legal 500 rating agency. We ranked Tier 1 in the TMT category, at the very top of the leaderboard. In the current ratings, we managed to move to higher tiers in two areas, both in the TMT category already mentioned, and in the area of Dispute Resolution, where our practice moved up to Tier 2, from last year’s Tier 3.
The Legal 500 legal rankings also rate lawyers at the forefront of their field. Joseph Donat, one of our partners, received the Leading Lawyer award for TMT. The rating agency also issued its first list of recommended experts for each area. Martin Janoušek, Vladimir Hejduk and Ondřej Křížek were named for Commercial, Corporate and M&A. In the category of Dispute Resolution, Miloš Olík, Michal Nulicek, Martin Janoušek and Lukáš Duffek won recognition. And Vilém Podešva was recommended in the Projects and Energy category.
