In the first week of May, Miloš Olík, a partner at ROWAN LEGAL, was appointed as an arbitrator for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). This is a very unique opportunity for Miloš and is recognition of his impressive arbitration practice. CIETAC resolves commercial disputes by means of arbitration and is one of the foremost permanent arbitration institutions in the world.
Miloš has acted as an arbitrator in over 100 arbitrations and is listed as an arbitrator with the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic and many of the world’s leading institutions (the London Court of International Arbitration, Vienna International Arbitral Centre and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre). He is the Chairman of the Council of Arbitrators of the Football Association of the Czech Republic and is a member of many other professional associations and organizations. He is active in these fields dealing with alternative dispute resolution within the framework of the International Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, Miloš Olík was recently awarded a Diploma in International Arbitration by the prestigious Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is set to become a Fellow of this renowned institution.
