Prague, 16 March 2023 – Leading law firm ROWAN LEGAL and its attorneys have again succeeded in the international rankings published by ranking company Chambers and Partners. Chambers Europe Guide 2023 has recognized the high quality of the firm’s services in six categories – TMT, compliance, competition, dispute resolution, intellectual property, and energy. In the individuals category, five of the firm’s lawyers, including partners Michal Nulíček and Josef Donát, received recognition. Partner and dispute resolution specialist Miloš Olík also scored another success, following the recent publication of the Chambers Global Partners Ranking.

ROWAN LEGAL achieved high ratings in its traditional strong areas. This is evidenced, for example, by its Band 1 rating in TMT (technology, media, communication), which is the highest possible award in the rankings, and which the firm has consistently achieved since 2017. The expert jury also praised the quality of services provided by ROWAN LEGAL in the fields of compliance (Band 2), competition (Band 3), dispute resolution (Band 3), intellectual property (Band 3) and energy projects (Band 3).

“Being ranked in the Chambers rankings is always a reassurance that we are doing our job well. I would like to express my gratitude not only to the expert jury, but also to our clients, whose satisfaction is the main contributor to a high final rating. My colleagues and I certainly do not take this trust for granted, and I assure everyone that we will not relent in our efforts to continuously improve the quality of the legal services we provide,” commented Michal Nulíček, partner at ROWAN LEGAL.

The Chambers rankings also include a ranking of individual law firm personalities. This year, five ROWAN LEGAL attorneys received awards. In the TMT area they were partners Josef Donát (Band 1) and Jan Tomíšek (newly promoted to Band 3). These are complemented by another partner Michal Nulíček in Band 2. Michal also achieved a high rating in compliance, where he was also awarded Band 2. Further, Jan Měkota was listed among upcoming “Associates to Watch”.

The firm’s last award-winning lawyer, who was ranked in two categories, is partner Miloš Olík. In both cases, his specialization is in out-of-court dispute resolution – as an arbitrator and as a representative of the parties in arbitration proceedings, he was ranked in Band 2. Earlier this year, he was also ranked in Band 2 in the Chambers Global 2023 peer rankings, while ROWAN LEGAL was ranked Band 3 in the same rankings.

“I appreciate the awards I have received (both for the office and as an individual). Despite the fact that we have succeeded in Chambers Global repeatedly, I always accept these awards with great humility and gratitude, as I realize how much competition there is among law firms, especially internationally. I would also like to thank my clients for their continued support,” added Miloš Olík, Attorney-at-Law and Head of the Dispute Resolution Department, commenting on his ranking in this global benchmark.

The Chambers Europe and Chambers Global rankings are published annually by the prestigious British ranking company Chambers and Partners. They rank not only European and global law firms, but also specific individuals. The main parameter of the final ranking is the feedback of the law firms’ clients and competitors, which is analyzed by an expert jury. ROWAN LEGAL has repeatedly ranked at the top of both evaluations.

ROWAN LEGAL is a leading law firm specializing in dispute resolution and arbitration, corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, IT, telecommunications, and competition, including public procurement. Its clients include major national and international corporations including public institutions.
