The Legal 500: ROWAN LEGAL among top law firms

Prague, 14 April 2023 – Leading Czech law firm ROWAN LEGAL and its attorneys have received additional major international awards. The international ranking of The Legal 500 has rated the quality of ROWAN LEGAL’s services in eight professional categories, and sixteen attorneys have been recommended as notable experts based on client feedback.

This success in The Legal 500 comes shortly after the announcement of the results of the international Chambers and Partners ranking, in which ROWAN LEGAL also scored very highly. ROWAN LEGAL was ranked by The Legal 500 jury in a total of eight categories: the highest rankings (Tier 1) were awarded in the categories of Intellectual Property and TMT – Technology, Media, Telecommunication, while high rankings (Tier 2) were also awarded in the categories of Dispute Resolution, EU and Competition, and Projects and PPP.

Two of the firm’s partners Michal Nulíček and Josef Donát were awarded the top Leading Individual award in the Intellectual Property and TMT categories. The firm’s other regularly recommended experts included Miloš Olík and Lukáš Duffek (Dispute Resolution), Jan Měkota (EU and Competition) and Vilém Podešva (EU and Competition, Projects and PPP, and Projects and Energy). Newly included in the rankings in the categories of key and recommended lawyers were Samuel Král (Intellectual Property), Pavel Hejl (TMT), Ondřej Brožek (Dispute Resolution), Simona Mlýnek Štursová (Tax), Michalela Jiříková and Marie Koštělová (Commercial, Corporate and M&A).

Equally important are awards in the other categories of Tax and Projects and Energy (Tier 3) and Commercial, Corporate and M&A (Tier 4). Vladimír Hejduk and Martin Šubrt (Tax) and Jan Frey (Commercial, Corporate and M&A) were additionally awarded in these categories.

The Legal 500, published annually, is one of the most prestigious global indicators of quality in the legal services market. The final ranking is the result of the evaluation of a number of criteria, with the greatest emphasis on client experience. Representatives of the ranking service receive feedback on individual law firms and take into account parameters such as the friendliness of client service, an innovative and effective professional approach to solving problems, and satisfaction with individual members of law firm teams.
