Denisa Marečková specializes in public procurement with an overlap into information and communication technology law. Within this field she provides comprehensive advice to contracting authorities and suppliers.
Within her specialization, she focuses mainly on the preparation of tender conditions in the field of IT, contract law, software law and telecommunications. As part of this activity, she advises on the management of ongoing projects implemented after public procurement, including legal advice on contract amendments.
Denisa has experience in providing legal support in the preparation and administration of major IT projects whose total value reached billions of CZK and in providing legal support to contractors for the most significant public procurement contracts awarded in the Czech Republic, including for projects co-financed by the European Union’s operational programmes.
Prior to joining the Bar, Denisa worked as a lawyer at VZP ČR, where she was involved in the complete preparation and administration of IT public procurement contracts, and also worked at the CTU, where she gained experience in telecommunications dispute resolution and consumer protection.

Comprehensive legal support for contracting authorities in analyzing the possibilities of horizontal cooperation in the implementation of tasks set out in the government’s Digital Czech Republic 2018+ programme and in the implementation of a project for the preparation of the eGovernment cloud, including the preparation of contractual documentation worth more than CZK 150 million per year.
Resolving vendor lock-in issues, including representation of public administration entities in negotiations with existing suppliers and subsequent securing of a new open tender procedure.
Comprehensive drafting of contracts for implementation and support of public administration information system with partial value of performance up to CZK 500 million.
