Samuel Král focuses his practice at ROWAN LEGAL on intellectual property, IT, cybersecurity, franchising and general business-to-business contracts. His clients include Czech and international companies from the IT, online services, financial services, energy and manufacturing sectors and public procurers of various sizes.

Samuel studied at Charles University and in England and previously worked for 2 years at international law firm Baker McKenzie and before that for over 4 years at Havel & Partners.

Advising one of the largest banks in the Czech Republic on the implementation of banking outsourcing and cloud computing within systems related to the performance of its activities.

Representing a state administration entity in concluding a contract for the support, operation and development of an information system in the field of basic registers with a performance volume of hundreds of millions of CZK per year – this involved negotiations with 3 suppliers for 3 interconnected systems.

Representing the client in participation in the performance of a public contract for the support and development of a public administration information system with a performance volume of hundreds of millions of CZK per year.

Providing legal advice to a public administration entity in drafting contractual templates for IT public procurement, including implementation of terms and conditions according to cyber security regulations.

Providing legal advice to several ministries on public procurement contracts for the implementation, support and development of the state administration’s information system. For example, in the implementation of Service Desk solutions, electronification of agencies, process management within the framework of electronified agencies, etc., with performance ranging from CZK 60 million to CZK 500 million.

Acting for a supplier in negotiating turnkey modular data center contracts for one of the largest industrial data center operators/vendors.

Representing one of the largest automotive companies in domain name disputes in several EU countries.
